What is Padel


Padel Racket

A padel racket is different from a tennis or squash racket. For instance, a padel racket does not have strings.

Shoes

There are specific shoes for padel to buy, but tennis shoes can be used

Ball

The ball in padel is basically the same as a tennis ball, but slightly softer and slightly smaller

Score

Scoring in padel is just like tennis. You play best of 3 or 5 sets and in each set you have to win 6 games.

walls

The glass walls are always part of the game but there are some rules for how they can be used. Our trainers are happy to explain the rules.

Rules

The rules for serving are different than tennis. a serve in padel must always be hit underhand and the ball must be hit at, or below waist height.

No. All you need is to register an account at www.matchi.com

Yes, in our pro-shop it is possible to rent rackets for $10 or you can choose to buy them (prices vary). You are able to buy Balls as well.

Typical tennis/gym gear. However, we recommend using padel tennis shoes, rather than regular running shoes. Padel tennis shoes are closer to clay court shoes in grip and design.

Yes, our courts are for doubles matches and are priced accordingly. However, you can book a court at full price (for four people) if you want to just play with one other player.

You can cancel any booking free of charge with more than 6 hours notice. However, we will charge you the price of your booking for any cancellation within 6 hours.

We offer both groups and individual lessons. Call us for more information or to speak with a staff member.

We are open daily from 9am to 9pm.
